I am reading the book in school, my teacher is reading it SOOO slow. I love how it is so suspenceful. I wanna know who slater is.

Was the audio book read by Peretti? I’m curious to know if he “reads” well. I had listened to an author-read audio of a book once, and it totally turned me off. I had enjoyed reading the book myself, but I didn’t like the quality of the author’s voice!

I love both This Present Darkness as well as Piercing the Darkness enough to want to listen to both audio versions. Look forward to seeing your reply.

I had read piercing the darkness about 23 years ago and recently listened to it as audio book. My sister mentioned that she had recently re-read the book as well. You are the third person in about 3 weeks whom I have encountered who has mentioned either of these two books. Coincidence?Hmm..

That never occurred to me. I guess that would require more investment of time and resources than I’m willing to put in since I don’t do it much anymore (perhaps a handful of times a year, maybe). It would have been interesting to hear what I dreamed about when I was a child since I talked almost every night.

I do. I used to a lot more. In fact, I used to wake myself up in conversations with people from my dreams.
